Broodmares

Queen is the Alpha mare of the group. She is a great producer and a strict disciplinarian as a mother. She is a Red Correll/Shawalla bred mare. Her foals are willing, athletic, agile and typey. Queen is broke to saddle and to harness. Queen will be bred to A-One Copperlee's Phoenix in May 2007 for a 2008 foal.

Lady Hawk is a tall big bodied mare. This mare is on indefinite lease from Arnold McKee. She was bloodtyped and DNA'd in 2005. She was brought here to breed to A-One Jim Dandy. A-One Tina Turner is the first foal of this cross. She is everything we were hoping for and more. LadyHawk is due mid May 2007 for her second registered Morgan foal by A-One Jim Dandy.

Liberty was out on the range until she was seven. She has big liquid eyes and good solid feet and legs. Liberty was not trained to saddle when we bought her. She took to her lessons like a pro and in 60 days, under the fine direction of Nick Reinhart, she became a sound mount. She produces fine foals, in her own image. One is in Holland owned by Ko Van Tuijl, one we have retained and one palomino colt, A-One Copperlee's Phoenix is owned by Butte Morgans. She also has a 2006 palomino colt A-One Utah sired by OGO Windswept Soleil on our for sale page. Liberty and her 2006 colt were on exhibit at the Calgary Stampede Morgan Horse booth in the Light Horse Display. Liberty is expecting a foal by A-One Jim Dandy in early June 2007.

Clara is a full sister to Duplicate Liberty. She is the dam of A-One The Mighty Quinn sired by Copperlee and now owned by Arctic Morgans of Delta Junction, Alaska. Clara is broke to saddle and is equally happy with a small child on her back or an adult. These pictures are our grandchildren with Inge Van Tuijl of Ter Aar, the Netherlands. The little boys in these pictures are 22 months old and the young lady is 5 years old.
