The Home of A-1 Morgans

We have moved from Brooks, Alberta to the beautiful Ottawa Valley and we brought this Western breeding program with us intact.

Our breeding program originated in the heart of cattle country in the Badlands of Southern Alberta and also in the mountain ranges of Interior British Columbia where horses have to be sound, tough and intelligent to get through a day on the range. In keeping with the versatility of the Morgan Horse, we breed, raise and train stock that excels in a variety of disciplines. Using the oldest and the best Western Working bloodlines available, we produce Morgans for Combined Driving, Endurance/Competitive Trail, working cattle, Eventing/Sport Horse, Show Ring, Pleasure or all of the above.

Our breeding program was passed to us by Duplicate Morgans through senior stallion, Pine Ethan Walker, (June 30, 1976 ... March 14th 2006). Pine was one of the last producing stallions bred by Mr. Stanley Walker of Rushville, NE. For more information on Pine, refer to his stallion page.

The genetic legacy of Pine Ethan Walker, along with BDM Ellis Doll's Dandy, Duplicate Fieldqueen, High & Mighty Candy and Duplicate LadyHawk is one we are very proud to continue.

Our mares are consistent producers of foals with athleticism, type, great conformation and most importantly; wonderful temperaments.

Our stallion, A-One Jim Dandy is the perfect complement to our mares. He carries all the attributes of his predecessors and passes them on to his foals.

Our Junior Stallion, SC Island Cashon's Image a three year old black.  "Johnny" is standing at stud for the first time in 2011.  Take advantage of his introductory stud fee of $300.00 (mare care is extra).

Have a look around our site and see for yourself.

Welcome, and thanks for stopping by.
